I must admit, it was really nice to be in America to celebrate Easter. I absolutely missed Burundi, but we still got to say Pasika Nziza to all our Burundian friends. The best part: We were able to send funds so the orphanage could have a feast!

These precious kiddos got chicken, rice, beans, spaghetti, and even soda! Just a few hundred dollars was all it took, and 48 children, plus the workers, all had their fill.

It is such a joy for us to still be able to partner and come alongside those we love in Burundi. Soon I will write a post describing in detail what we’re up to now, but for today Pasika Nziza-Happy Easter!
