We were informed yesterday that the orphanage in Burundi has had malaria and the flu, and 8 children are hospitalized. We are hoping to raise money for these expenses and are also working on researching malaria prevention for them. Although these are common illnesses in Burundi, they are particularly dangerous to the vulnerable and malnourished. Their bodies can’t fight these illnesses, and dehydration can be lethal quickly for them.
