Have you ever read the Good Night books? Well, Good Night Indiana and Good Night, Dude Perfect are our favorites and as we’ve been saying our goodbye’s we thought of a lighthearted way to share with you all by writing our own rendition of a Good Night book. So, without further ado, here is our families Goodbye Indiana poem.
Goodbye Indiana written by The Krumenacher Family
Goodbye Thai Spice, our favorite food and waitress so nice.
Goodbye Smoothie King, your Dude Perfect smoothies these 3 dudes favorite thing.
Goodbye Greenwood Library, your librarians so nice, helping us with our armful of books every week, sometimes twice.
Goodbye Starbucks, we disagree with most of what you stand for, but your peppermint hot chocolate always leaves us wanting more.
Goodbye First Watch and your 2 hour wait, we’re bored stiff but you’re still our favorite breakfast place.
Goodbye Fair Oaks Farm with your fantastic pool, you’re our favorite hotel with that hot tub so cool.
Goodbye Wheeler Mission where we met and fell in love, there have been a thousand miracles that could only come from above.
Goodbye Kroger and Miss Jenny our favorite employee, you’ve given these boys smiles, suckers and hugs since before they were 3.
Goodbye Anderson Orchard we will miss your apple cider, you always made our fall seasons so much brighter.
Goodbye Jay’s Christmas Tree Farm our annual family tradition, thank you for your trees being each years perfect Christmas addition.
Goodbye Rascal’s FunZone with your games so fun, Josh and I are glad it was Ema and Papa who spent the money there until there was none.
Goodbye sirens and firehouse so close by, we actually won’t miss you but appreciate the work you do, we won’t lie.
Goodbye Lifepoint Church you’ve loved us so well, we even think your middle schoolers are pretty swell.
Goodbye Indiana with your temperamental weather: riding bikes in winter, wearing sweatshirts in summer, sometimes you are quite a bummer.
Goodbye hot, pressured water, we may miss you the most or maybe it will be the others around us when we smell so gross.
Goodbye friends and family you will be deeply missed, but we will return to give you hugs, we just can’t resist.
